Hi All,
As I´ve just explained in the fins section...I´m after some bits and pieces of new gear, and am just not up on what´s hot and what´s not (apparently I´m not).
I´m cold water (dry suit) diving, southern chile and HOPEFULLY antarctic peninsula. My old sherwood BC has seen better days, and the time has come for integrated weights, I´ve had the Apollo bio lift or atlantis scuba resolute BCDs recommended, and would like to hear any good reasons why I shouldn´t go with either one. Since I´m already fairly heavily weighted down any extra buoyancy would be a big down side...other than that I really can´t think what I need...to float when I´m on the surface and occasionally get a spare pencil or cable tie out of my pocket. Obviously excessive bulkyness is not what I´m after either.
All thoughts appreciated,
Many thanks
Emma
