I think it is. My waist is about 78 cm, so the shorts are two big for me, which is one reason I’m selling it. My hip thigh is 55 cm. The shorts fit me well on thigh.

Thanks, good info I've been eyeing the Apeks shorts for a while now, but have been hesitant due to cost and unsure about sizing. It sounds like I'm squarely within the Medium size, sorry I can't help ya out this time.
