I know most people don't do this, but I open up one of the lp and one of the hp port of my atmoic once in a while to check for moisture and purge if I see any water drops.(usually don't happen)

Both regs are great, very slight difference in overall performance. I've 2 tx50s, among several others. Honestly, consider purchasing the 50 and use the rest of the money to buy the spg or octo. It's one of the cheapest high performance regs you can find in the market and the price quoted is right.
