Apeks Regs - Single Tank to DIR Doubles - What would you do?

I have DS4s and I just cock them to the side a little so the hoses don't bend too sharp.

I know what you mean but I still prefer (for doubles) a first stage that has the HP and LP ports angled away from each other (MK20/25 or similar, FST or FSR).

You got all solution already. Get this 1st stage from your friend and ATX50 second stage somewhere. All done... I prefer not mixing 1st stages......

I am doubling steel 130s so space should not be as big of a problem as with AL80s.

Also, I prefer not mixing 1st stages as well, unless the expense to get a matching 1st stage is cost prohibitive, which in this case, it isnt. I will buy the Apeks 1st stage off my friend and double up ATX-200 1st stages.

Thanks to all who have replied in kind. My next topic is where to get a pair of ScubaPro Twin Jet fins with a steel strap at a reasonable price.

I would say that's Jets w/ spring straps would probably make a better alternative.
