I don't think it will be available this year in US market unless it appears on the US Apeks 2006 catalog. Otherwise, they are stupid enough to re-print their catalog again... Of course, the customer will pay for it though....

Perhaps it is how your regs are set up. I've got three ATX200s (original, Black Pearl and Tungsten) and I have used them in all sorts of conditions (very cold water, deep, strong currents, etc) and I have never had a problem with any of them either freeflowing or the purge being sensitive to current – and I have sat face-on into some rip-*** currents in the Red Sea while waiting for a bit of shark action.
