where is a good source for the large apeks heat sink that is in the atx100 and atx200. i am looking for one to possibly upgrade and atx50.

where can i find them and how much do they cost?

kurt

yes i know it already has one, but the atx200 version is bigger, part number is ap1053/s i belive. never had problems, just thought about making it better just in case?

kurt

sorry the number is AP5013/S the number for the standard item is AP5002

the venturi lever, adjusting screw, and valve spindle also show different part numbers for atx50 vs. atx200, does anyone know the difference in these parts?

Personally, I would not touch it - if it ain't broke, don't fix it :) The ATX200 second stage has an additional adjustment that can be made by a technician, hence the different parts. The ATX50 is already a high performance cold water regulator, the ATX200 is just a deluxe version. There's nothing the ATX200 can handle that the ATX50 can't.

To agree, the 200 is no better in terms of the heat sink. the only difference is the air flow from the first stage under high flow situations.
