From the picture it looks like you don't have a "Yoke to DIN adapter", but an actual "Yoke". If so you need to remove (unscrew?) the DIN valve from the regulator and replace it with the Yoke.padivers:Hello i have a din 1st stage and a apeks adapter to go from yoke to din but how does this adapter attach to the din 1st stage i must be missing something.....
ScubaRonI prefer to change out the fittings rather than using an adaptor.
You have a Yoke fitting not a Yoke adaptor. To put it on you must first remove the DIN fitting. Its easy to do so using an Allen wrench. Hold on to the first stage, insert the Allen wrench in the opening (where first stage connects to tank) and rotate CCW. Then screw in the Yoke fitting, making sure the gasket on the end of the fitting stays in place, and tighten it with a ¾ box or big open end adjustable wrench.

Make sure you have the O-Ring for the bottom of the yoke adaptor. They're easy to lose.
