Apeks AT20 --> ATX40?

Hi!

Just wondering if the AT20 2nd stage can be adapated for cold water use by adding a heat exchanger to the hose. Apparently the only difference between the AT20 and ATX40 is this heat exchanger. I guess this is a valid question only if the exchanger is NOT integral to the body of the 2nd stage.

This was discussed in a previous thread. Try searching heat exchanger. As I remember the AT20 can be Converted to an ATX40 but that the companies frown on it. Though in my opinion go for it.

I have never heard of anyone frowning on it..... But go ahead and order the heat sink. Don't be surprised at the price though.
