Anyone dive a Apeks XTX100. I just purchased my second Apexs regulator/octo setup and have a question concerning the Integrated Venturi System.
Is the IVS on the XTX100 a click type adjustment? The XTX40 octo IVS is an effortless smooth continuous movement as was my previous regulator and octo setup (ATX200/ATX40). The XTX100 I just purchased (New) is a click movement that does require a bit of effort to move.

Just wondering if anyone else out there has encountered this or is this just normal operation?

The XTX series has a detent on it, too stiff for me. If you remove the front cover and diaphragm, then slide the barrel out you'll see a white nylon block about 3/16" X 1/8" on each side (on both sides so the reg can be converted to hose on left) These can be plucked out (and replaced later if desired) and it will behave with the same amount of friction as the TX/ATX second stages
