I just got the first shipment of DIR Zone wings and backplates to my little shop today. And since I think these wings/BP are a notch above the great "H", and just there in the top with Agir in quality but slightly cheaper, I wonder if any of you American hog-divers have gotten gear from German "DIR Zone"?

EDIT:

No, I don't sell overseas! I just wonder if you are so lucky to have any US dealers!...

do you have the internet site of dir zone?

Well, it's www.dir-zone.com. But sadly there's nothing in it! They haven't had the time to make a website, they say... :06:

There are some webshops over here with a better presentation of more products than I have. I will look them up and post some adresses.

Doc Intrepid:
Soggy sells DIR Zone SPGs... I bought a couple, they work well.

Yes they are nice. However, these are probably not MADE by DIR Zone, as with most other brands of SPGs.

I would love to have the address of the Taiwan suppler before I start dealing with American "manufactures" and have the prototype BP done up as I have just started the process.

Care to explain? I don't understand what you mean here.

I use a Golem Gear wing, which I believe is the same as the DIR Zone make. I've owned several wings, but I've never seen one this overbuilt...very heavy material. Great wing.

Interesting! They resemble DIR Zone, I agree. Slightly differs in sizes though. There seems to be a 40 lbs (18 kg) double wing in the Golem range, where as DIR Zone markets one 20 kg (45 lbs?) and one 25 kg (55 lbs) double wing.

And yes, the material is awsomely rugged. Indestructable... Much more rugged than Halcyon, and even slightly more or at least in the class of Agir.

I don't get what you are saying...

The brass/glass SPGs are all made by the same company in Italy.

And there *are* American manufacturers of backplates, wings, BCs, etc.
