Galveston is a lovely town with a colorful history and lots of buildings that surived the Great Storm of 1900. :leseratte What are you going to study there? :umnik:

um im probably going to major in marine fisheries and minor in marine mammal science but i dunno yet! im not gonna change my major but im still deciding on a minor! i went to the island i think 2 months ago and i loved it!! its so....sea! i love it!! I WANNA BE A SEA AGGIE!!

I used to work with someone that went there. It looks like a cool campus. You might also try Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, as well. The Texas State Aquarium is in Corpus, too. It's the best aquarium I've ever seen.

have you been to the aquarium at Moody Gardens in Galveston, I like it better than Corpus!

i havent been to either aquarium...but im going to galveston for thanksgiving so ill see if i can go then!! i think corpus is too far away but i will check it out too!! thanks!

No, I haven't been to Moody Gardens, but I have heard of it. However, I've been to aquariums in Seattle, London and Boston, and the Texas State Aquarium beats them all. Moody would have to go a long way to compete with TSA.
