How the heck do you get the vyper out of the wrist boot? Every time it feels close, I think I am breaking something...is it just that hard to get out?

The thing you need to know, which is not immediately obvious IMO, is that the straps are attached to the computer, not to the boot. You aren't just pulling the computer out of the boot, you have to pull the straps through as well.

Start at the bottom of the face. You need to help the strap through the slot in the bottom of the boot. Once the bottom is out, you can release the top -- needs even more help because the strap has the bendy concertina effect on that side. Work carefully, you don't want to strain anything.

It gets easier once you've seen how everything fits together.

Hope that helps,

Zept

Remove the computer from the console or boot.
Wrist model:
• Pull off the boot. Remove it first from the front end with the
longer part of the strap.
• Disassemble the shorter part of the strap with a flat 1.5 mm screw
driver or a special tool for spring bars. The longer part of the strap
may stay on but removing it may ease the work later on.

Hope it does.

Thanks Windknot!

Seeing the pics really help. I was interested since I will probably use the same setup when I get my Vytec. It should arrive today.
