Wow my wife surprised me by adding a few days to our Destin vacation. She booked a place in Pensacola for the weekend and told me to take off and dive the Oriskany. When you have 2 little kids its hard to make solo trips like this and I'm already going in July.

Anyway that's not the question just thought Id share my excitement.

I'm considering using Niuhi. Any experience with them? PM me if you don't want to pay negative experiences.

I've been on the Niuhi a few times but not since Captain Andy Ross bought her. I've had trips booked with Andy but seas weren't favorable so we didn't go out. Captain Rob Louer owned the Niuhi originally and he was great. It appears Andy is living up to the same standards. I wouldn't hesitate to go to the Oriskany on the Niuhi.

I just took two 15 yr. old jr. divers out with Capt. Andy on the Niuhi and was extremely pleased. We did not go to the "O" however. They did a couple of dives 80' and 100'. It was there first open water dive. I have a medical condition and cannot get certified so I did not dive with them. The dive master "Barry" was awesome and made me very comfortable leading the boys. They try very hard to take care of you and I am trying to get another dive set up soon.
