I just got this program working and it pretty neat. Too bad the resolution is lost on the ultimate zoom in but its a neat way to check out the dive sites and look at the terrain. The program is basically a satallite image of the world with some areas in nice detail. Anyone know an even better program ?

I can actually zoom in on the Beavertail Lighthouse and Folley Cove and see the houses nearby which is neat.

Hey!!!

Were can I get an ocean chart overlay for this program. I cant believe there are so many adons available and people are making overlays for their favorite interest to download into the program.

No, I use Maptech. They already have nautical charts built in, and topo/photo are both available too.

I too have used Google Earth to scope out some sites. Some sites have finer resolution. e.g. try cape cod. You can get down to my cottage in dennisport. I wish was something for nauthical charts like maptech but with google earth user interface.

You have to use google earth to know what am asking. You have the whole rotateable earth on your screen and ease of zooming would make it much better than sideways scrolling in maptech's tiny window. Although maptech is nice.
