Very, easy and safe and comfortable to take the bus from SPS to La Ceiba, check it out, done it twice!!!

We're arriving around 11am while the Hedman Alas bus seems to depart at 10am. So I think a cab ride it is. Thanks.

Hedman Alas ::: Leaders & Innovators of land transportation in Central America Since 1952 ::: for bus schedules - safe, comfortable and direct from SPS to La C. They have their own bus station and a ticket office in SPS airport. According to their website there is a departure from the SPS airport at 1:30pm to La Ceiba.

If you are trying to make the 4pm ferry from La Ceiba then cab or plane is gonna be the only way if you arrive at 11am - journey takes around 3 hours.

If you need recommendation on places to stay in La Ceiba let me know!

If you are looking at a cab then consider a flight - they cost about the same!

Hm, according to this schedule (Hedman Alas ::: San Pedro Sula :::) their bus leaves SPS (airport?) at 10:20am and at 2:45pm. We are trying to make the last ferry and staying in La Ceiba isn't really what we're looking for. Because there are 2 of us, cab fare ($100) seems like a better option even though it may take up to 3 hours (although its about 70 miles away or so). We're looking for anyone interested in sharing the cab ride/fare to La Ceiba on that day. Thanks!

Can someone recommend a reliable car/van service from SPS - La Ceiba? Thanks.
