Does anyone have any experience travelling with a pony bottle since Sept 11, 2001? I am going international next Feb. and am curious if these are totally disallowed these days or...?

Just figured that of our 4000 members someone might know the real scoop.

Thanks

Last month we were in the Red Sea via Europe. We emptied the cylinder and unthreaded the tank valve so there were two separate pieces. Both were packed in one of our dive bags.

There were no problems coming or going with any of our dive bags.

Well, I work for Delta and can tell you they are still allowed. You simply have to have them empty, like stated above.
