skeet:Thinking of taking the class, has anyone else, was it good-not good, should i go another route.
jbd:I think tndiveinstruct1(his board name) has recently taken that class. Shoot him a PM.
quarrydiver99:I was talking to Randy (tndiveinstruct1) the other day and he was telling me that he was banned on here for some reason. He never got an email or anything
Drop him an email at randy at scubarandy dot com....

jbd:How does he know he was banned? Maybe it was just that he couldn't get on when they had problems with the data base or whatever a little while back.
MikeFerrara:I used to teach the class. Blending is blending. I don't like the blending materials from any of the agencies. Who ever wrote them is definately math challenged. I teach the math in a way that's far easier and more versitile for most people.
MikeFerrara:The dsat course relies heavily on the use of software by design. Software is fine but if you understand the math you can use any software you want or write your own for that matter. Understanding the math also makes it easier to know when the answer you get from software doesn't make any sense...and all it takes is fat fingers for that to happen.
