Anyone stay at Casa del Mar recently?

I need to start thinking about booking a hotel for our Dec trip. We stayed at Fiesta Americana in April and the location was great, but I could do without the late afternoon loud bingo and pool games. The AI package was really convenientThe newly renovated Superior rooms and the Deluxe Cabanas at Casa del Mar looked good online. Has anyone been there post-renovation? Also how is the on-site restaurant? Mainly for breakfast and afternoon snack, but maybe a couple dinners too.

Stayed there last August and it wasn't bad. Nothing fancy, but the rooms were clean and the A/C worked well.

Breakfast was fairly decent (you usual cozumel buffet breakfast), but I don't think we ever ate dinner or lunch there.

Thanks, robot. They have a really great deal for early Dec on the cabana rooms and they look good online. It's between FA, Casa del Mar or a Residencia Reef condo. We're still waiting to hear if our usually Dec trip dive buddies will be coming or not.
