Loaned a friend my Canon S80 for a trip to Calgary and it came back locked open and not working properly. Any experienced this before? He said he found it powered up and opened in it's case, functioning, but lens would not close.
So, the short version[/FONT] is I have a WP-DC1 housing I cant use now with weights set in mint condition. Is there another camera that will fit this?
Anyone need one?
Before anyone says to post in "for sale", I am looking for feedback on what to do with the gear.
If I can't figure out what to do with this, or get a fix from Canon for what is apparently is a common problem with the camera, I guess I might just HAVE TO get some new gear....
