Anyone make double travel bands?

I was thinking of my next dive trip and thought it would be nice to have a set of double travel bands, just in case. I have a bunch of cam straps lying around in the garage so it shouldn't be too difficult. So far I've found two models:

Pricey!

It seems this would be pretty easy to do, all I need is to design the center metal piece. Anyone design one of these?
