i think that its a baby starfish . i notice these in areas of large populations of star fish .

:alien_2:Needs some work.. :) It will get better. :) I'm going to steal your logging all your dives (and numbering them) and I like cold water kitty's blog as well. Love their pictures. I'll get there someday. :) On my way with the Canon 40D I bought... Now just need to learn the camera backwards and forwards. I think I may just have to buy a new computer to process all the pictures...At the highest setting they're like 5 MBs a piece... The RAW format is twice that if I remember right. And a my rate of taking 40-50 pictures (I've noticed taking significantly more picture taking with this camera because of the almost nil shutter delay) will quickly fill up my hard drive and spares... :)

Brad - Steal away my friend! :) I linked to your Blog as well - which is a pretty cool feature.

As for the photos - you might also wish to consider an external storage drive to store photos that you are not actually working on. Can be purchased at Costco, Fry's, etc. for relatively cheaply and generally can be hooked up via the USB. My husband would be a great person to talk to about this if you are interested in knowing more about them. :)
