From the port Captain:
"
Good morning to the entire maritime community of Cozumel.
Cold Front Number 23 entered the Gulf of Mexico today and is expected to affect our jurisdiction in Cozumel beginning early tomorrow, Friday, January 13. The wind will begin to feel from the Northwest with fresh speeds of 12 to 14 km/Hr, but as the morning progresses, after noon the wind will increase its speeds reaching 25 Km/Hr and gusts that can reach 30 Km/Hr .
If the forecasts continue like this, the Port will be closed for navigation for small boats starting at 12:00.
Everyone is informed to take extreme precautions and prevent unnecessary risks.
*Let's safeguard human life at sea, and take care of our activities and sources of income.*"
