Anyone interested: August 8th Trip on Peace River

I'm going with Fred Mazza of Paleodiscoveries on a Peace River collecting trip on August 8th. I did the trip a few weeks ago and had a great time and found some interesting fossils. I'd like to try a totally unexplored site for the next trip. If I can find at least one other person interested, Fred will guide a canoe trip farther up river than the groups normally go. The all day trip is $85 per person. The water seems to slow for SCUBA to be really effective, but I did well snorkeling last time. Anyone interested?

Is there a back up plain if the weather doesn't cooperate? Looks like we may have a Tropical Storm / Hurricane over the top of us on Mon.. :shocked2: Otherwise, I'm interested.. PM me the details if you can.

I inquired about a month ago and was told the water level isn't right. I don't remember whether they said it was too high or too low. What is the correct range for fossiling? Anybody know?
