Anyone in KZN or Eastern Cape know if the Sardines have started moving yet?

Just phoned my LDC (local dive charter) to find out. Only expecting sards in June. If I hear any news, I will post.

We are all hoping for a better spectacle than last year! (What sardines?) :)
Cheers,

Andrew

Well I had baitball action near PSJ... but it was a real long winter for the netters in KZN. But there was some fantastic humpback action going on though. I'm wondering if the sea temps are the same as last year too.

At the moment, the sea temp is around 24 degrees Celcius. There were some very cold currents washing through a few weeks ago (16 degrees Celcius). This is (hopefully) a good sign of things to come.

Cheers,

Andrew
