Hoping to get there (Tofo) in January, not sure if its the season there at that stage though but good point

According to the resident whaleshark scientist, Simon Pierce, it is one of very few spots on earth where you actally can see them year round. Added bonus is huge manta rays (the largest counted population worldwide).

Yes I was there about a year ago. Don't know if you saw the enclosed photos in my prior mail, but I shot them on that trip.
