I have been to Bonne Terre a few times and have had an awesome time!! As for one person having a problem and the entire group scrapping the dive, I promise there was more to it than that!! I have dove numerous times with over 6 people and all have eventually ran out of air except me and the instructor.......They all surfaced and the Kayak followed them to the dock while we kept diving! If the group returned then there was a major problem and I cant imagine them using that as one of their dives. My customers have also always had great experiences with them and all will go back again. As for the price, yes its steep, but your taking a guided tour through the mines....If you go once, you see trails 1-4, you go back within a year you see trail 5-8 and so on and so on...there are 24 trails.....and they get better the more you go there is so much to see there

If you have any more questions or concerns related to the mines feel free to pm me

Unless they have changed their policy this may not be totally true. If you stay for two days and do two dives a day, yes you see 1-4. I am pretty sure that they will only allow you to do three a day. I looked on the web site but didn't really see where they specified.

Who wanna check their 24 trails all? I had better be in FL..

Yes sir you are absolutely right.....Thas my fault on my explanation. You can do three dives a day. What I was tryin to say is the first time your there, you wont see the best trails, unless you stay there for a while and do multiple dives.

I am not sure if the owner is rich enough, so he doesn't care about money though.

What is the best business strategy?

Show the best trail first and then expect divers will come back
or, show the entry one and exepct the divers will be back later to check out the best one (of course, there is no guarantee to take the best one though.)

I bet the first option will be more wise....

well, there's no way i'm gonna drop a grand on that place, so guess i'll never see this "best" trail

$65/dive X 25 trails. = $1,625....

They might give some group rate discount, 10%~20%, for the regular divers.

$,1625 X 0.8 = $1,300....

Wow. he is right... It is more than $1k....

There are no discounts for regular divers.

There is a group discount--for large enough groups, one diver will go for free.
