Hi all,

I'm planning a dive trip with a quick Safari. Dives sites are Tofo, Ponta, and Morrungulo. My primary interests are oceanic mantas, whale sharks, and sharks overall (ideally hammers and tigers). Peri Peri out of Tofo is organizing and guiding throughout. Its 14 days total with 10 days of diving at said sites, 2 travel days by car, and 2 days of Safari. Wandering if anyone has thoughts on the:

1. The likelihood of mantas at any of these sites and when are the best months?

2. What months offer the best conditions for diving theses sites. I'm advanced open water, 50 dives, nitrox, with about 15 proper ocean drift dives, and 2 previous shark dives. Very comfortable in water and decent bouyancy but do go through air more than most.

3. How is the diving and abundance of sea life overall at these sites?

2. Anyone familiar with Peri Peri?

3. Best way to get to Tofo? Have read the internal flights are unreliable so a bit hesitant about flying from Tofo to INHAMBANE.

Welcome all thoughts/comments/suggestions about anything else of which I should be aware.

As for Safari,

Its either two 10 hours drive days in Krueger. Although, it seems to be centered around Marloth which may not be suited for my desire to see the Big 5. This is something I need to clear up. Or, one 9 hour and one 3 hour drive through Umfolozi which I'm not sure will be enough. Not sure if anyone has thoughts or experience with these parks but definitely welcome your thoughts if you do.

Thanks all.
