Has anyone got their cert here? or know someone who has? it seems fairly inexpensive, AND I KNOW THATS NOT ALWAYS A GOOD THING! so please dont give the the " its a dangerous sport and you need good training....." talk. I chose this place cause it seems reasonable AND its close to my work. Also i can take the classes in two weeks or so. at least with the condence class which is about 3-4 classes a week. Heres the web site, let me know what you guys think.

I did it at the san pedro shop. I liked it. give it a shot! as will be said a thousand times it all depends on the instructor.

good luck!

I know the new course director personally. He is an amazing person with years of dive experience. If that's any testament, things should be fine!

From everything I know, they're a pretty good shop. I buy equipment from them on occasion and have my tanks hydro'ed at the San Pedro store. As Codyjp said, make sure you feel comfortable with the instructor and you should be fine.

Wow... that does sound like a good deal if it includes a boat day as advertised.

if you can.... have Brian Johnson as your instructor. great instructor with a lot of experience...
