So far the cheapest airfare to cozumel I found was through travelocity.com (about $243, not including taxes + arrival and departure fees, which would be another $200) - HOWEVER most of the days they offer fares are sold out. So, I was thinking of using priceline. Or, does anyone have any suggestions? I am fed up with the "airline" industry crying about running empty planes, when the price of airfare is so damn high!

Where are you flying from?

if someone tells you taxes and departure/arrival fees will cost you $200 for a $243 ticket they have got to be kidding. no way.

Got mine - BOS to CZM on US Air for $300. The tax thing sounds wrong to me - should be more like $90. If you have anything below $400 net, that's a pretty good deal.
