Do you have stats for any other places in the Caribbean. My guess is that there are other more dangerous scuba destinations.

I am not familiar with it, but you do realize this place is not near the bulk of the dive sites and is out near Lac Bay? It's no doubt popular with the windsurfer crowd. But divers?

It must be at least 15 minutes to the nearest dive site.

Your logic is lost on me. Bonaire has had 2 homicides year-to-date among a population of 16,000 vs. 35 homicides among Toronto's 2.6 million residents. That's 1 homicide per 8000 Bonaireans vs. 1 homicide per 75,000 Toronto residents. The difference is almost tenfold and it's not in your favor.

It's always fun to play with numbers.

If two guys are in the hallway at the US Supreme Court after closing, get drunk, have an argument, and one guy gets pushed down the stairs and dies, you could claim that the US Supreme Court has a homicide rate of 50%.

Probabilities aren't useful for small sample sizes.

It is only like 3-4 miles to Lac Bay, but seems like it takes forever compared to everything else. haha
