I had a wknd trip planned at Rockport this wknd and dont want to cancel it due to Irene. I just got off the phone with Cape Ann divers and they said the weather today is great and that tomorrow should be just as good. Of course they couldnt comment on saturdays weather but Im sure Sunday will definitely be out.
Im from CT and would like to get a dive in tomorrow if the weather holds out. If I cant then I guess it will be a wet weekend of relaxing inside. Maybe some shopping with the wife...
Im just looking to get an idea if others will be in the water tomroow or sat...

Diving prospects for Saturday and Sunday, the 27th and 28th, are poor, but could still be worth the effort if you avoid the south and southeast side of Cape Ann. Front and Back Beach might be protected enough. Folly Cove might be the best bet.

I'd go with you, but I have several excuses that I'm working on.... :D

Be sure to write a dive report! Or at least report in.... ;)

See links and forecast below.

Good luck!
