I'm usually the one with vis and temp reports. Have any of you guys been out off of Florida's suncoast? I have been knocked off the water for two weeks by a nasty cold. I'm suspecting that even with the number of cold fronts that have blown through here, that vis will not be half bad to due algae dying off. The gulf temp must be falling pretty quick. And, with the cold moving bait and mackeral out of the area, maybe I can actually make a dive without have a shark over my shoulder every time I shoot a fish.
I just looked, WFLA is reporting a Gulf temp of 62f. Chilly. With the worst part of this cold behind me, I'll be ready to don the 5 mil with hooded vest and do some diving as early as mid-week.
