My 9 year old has stuck with his lessons, practiced every night, and is now eligible for the "If you stick with this, we will get you a better guitar" upgrade.

I am looking for a nice used electric guitar...and an amp would be a possibility as well...if the price is right.

Can pay cash, or offer some sort of gear trade for the right stuff.

You can PM me here.

Thanks.

Scott

(Yeah, I know this isn't the classifieds section, but I just want deal locally, if possible...)

Scott I talked to one of my friends who is a musician, she sold everything that she doesnt use but had a recomendation for you. I will PM you

For clarification: I just need a simple electric guitar. Something like a Fender Strat or Telecaster, or a Gibson or Epiphone SG...

Something a 9 year old can play.

Made in Japan, Korea, Mexico, etc. is fine... :)

I know you said "used" but, try checking out "Musicians' Friend' online. I've gotten great deals from them on most all my equipment. Also, don't be afraid of the blems. They are execellent quaility, maybe a scratch or two but I haven't been disappointed with them so far.

All PMs have been answered, and some pics have been requested.

I was hoping to get 2 or 3 responses, but went way over that number!! :)

There must be a lot of guitars out there collecting dust!!

Thanks to all!

Scott

I have a few OLD Fender geetars. :DThey are not what you are looking for though.:shakehead: They are not collecting dust, my wife won't allow that:rofl3: The Musicians Friend is an excellent suggestion. Check out their blems, seconds, or returns Sometimes they have great buys.

A recommendation on amps, check out the Roland Cube 30. It doesn't compare with my 1962 Fender Twin Reverb, but then it weights and cost a whole lot less.:D
