Hey - haven't seen anyone posting reports or looking for buddies - I thought for sure iwth the mild winter and lack of ice, more people would be going. . . I'm in withdrawl - I can't wait to find a place to go and start diving again :)

My Pals have been diving lake Michigan, I have been working on the boat,The ice is out were we launch so if the top side temps break 40 for a few days I am going!
Looks like the wrecks close to shore are a bit murky but the deeper ones the water is clear.
The way I look at it next month will be looking good if it warms up a bit.

Looks like Haigh may be open March 1st, been going down for years,May pop down for a quiet day of diving if the lake gods dont work for me,
Any one up to a mid week dive as its been real quiet in the past.
Got some new toys to play with!

I'm off on March 1 - I would love to christen the new dive season with you. . . I've got my drysuit ready to go and it is a few days before my FL trip. . .

MIke :)

Hey Mike,
Sounds Great, I will call Tina on a head count as the end of the month comes up.
were you going to in Florida?
Haigh is a great place to work on weight and weekedays you mostly have a dock to your self, and thats nice as you can lay stuff out and change set ups easy!
Congrats on the dry suit! now you will have to come up my way on weekends and start some mass diving!
I will see if a pal would like to come down he dives wet and cold water dose not bother him at all!

Some of us don't miss a weekend diving, even if it's only in the river.... Today's dive was the warmest so far, 37 degrees - my dive buddies only lasted 48 minutes before the cold got to them. We use a ice shanty for a changing room so we're toasty before and after the dive.

Im up for the March Dives as well so keep us informed on the time. I read more then I post here but will be posting more often. Seems like a nice little club going on here & can't wait to break in the season.

See Ya then
