Don't know about the Polar Plunge, but we had 55 degrees at 25 ft and hit 50 degres at 62 ft last Saturday. Bring a drysuit. Look up number at www.lakerawlings.com bubble-head hit it on the nose about what you need to do to get in there during the winter. 20th would be good or the 15th(national holiday)

I just found out I am off Friday January 19th so I am all for it if we can get some others that can and are willing to go :D

I can make that.

I am not too crazy about 36 dollars each for the two of us, so more divers would be a good thing.

So that makes it three of us. Is there any public transport that takes you straight to Lake Rawlings? I have not gotten my drivers license yet so I was thinking a bus? may be?

Just a heads-up...Dive Quarters will be running a class at Lake Rawlings on 20 and 21 Jan (I'll be there Sunday to get signed off on my drysuit). They'll open up Rawlings so...you may want to call for availability.

- No

- No

- Where are you coming from?

I am going along with dive quarters to dive with my g/f who is getting her checkout dives done. I am hoping that wearing a 7mil with a hood and gloves along with my boots will be enough. Any input on how quick I am gonna freeze?

:) Just keep moving...I dove last January in a 7mm with a 5mm hood and 3mm gloves. First dive was fine...second dive...not so much.

Then again, I run cold.
