Scubaron... I'm a bit confused... cuz my Volos are yellow... do you mean the open heeled Volos? Or the full foot Volos?

If you're talking about the open heel Volos... I haven't seen the all black or the blue ones that you mentioned. Do you have a photo? If Mares made blue open-heeled Volos, then I'm sure the yellow ones aren't far behind. :)

You must have the panthers or the tigers but they are NOT Volos. They are a similar fin but not the same. Since Dacor is owned by Mares they have access to the patent but they are different products.

Mike, no offense dude... but I can tell Mares from Dacor.

That's why I was asking if he meant the open heeled or full foot Volos.

My Bad jplacson, sorry about that.
I too was thinking about the open heeled units like mine since I have never seen yellow......Hell I have never even seen the yellow race so I stand corrected.

I indeed meant the open heel Volo's. The closed heel Volo Race s has been available in yellow for some time and this is probably what Aquanaught's instructor was wearing.

LeisurePro sells the black and blue open heel Volo's.

Hi

Volos exist in Blue for sure. I bought a pair of opened heel Volos a.k.a. "Volo Power" in Blue last September. They also exist as closed heel fins a.k.a. "Volo Race "in Blue. I know, because I was contemplating between the two. I choose the Power because I already have two pairs of closed heal fins.

I like them. However, I must admit that it's a bit weird wearing booties with fins, as I've always worn closed heel fins before. I spend a lot of time adjusting the tightness and fiddling with the strap - especially the first few dives. It takes getting used to.

Perhaps I'm imagining things, but it seems like the booties make my feet more buoyant. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sylvie

I never had any problems with my straps on my volos i found them 100% easier than my last set you might want to look up the Do it Yourself board and look up Spring Straps i am going to try them next week ..........NDF
