I just don't log dives
G’day y’all,

I’ve recently purchased a D5 and there’s a couple of things bugging me that I want to know if they’re normal or not:

  1. Is the display meant to be slightly pixilated at the top?
  2. Even after 3 full charging cycles I can’t get more than 7 hours bat life and the bat level display never quite makes it to 100%
See pic attached. Is this normal or do I have a dud??

Cheers!

The setting that you have chosen could be the reason for the battery life.
for the display that is not correct.
that it into the dealer and they will swap it out.

but I am trying to get rid of mine. the battery life is not great for instructors and busy dive resorts. had mine changed 3 times now just due to the battery problems.
I'm looking at the new G1 Garmin
