So we're going to Roatan on a cruise - not our first time in Roatan but our first time diving in Roatan. I've looked through a lot of recommendations and reached out to a couple dive shops. The only problem is we get in to port at 7 AM eastern time which is 5 AM Roatan time. We'd like to do a 2 tank dive but the ones we've found so far cant get us back to port before 12 PM Roatan Time. Our gangway goes up 12:30 PM island time so wed need to be back by then.

Any ideas? Ideally looking for a shop that has a 7:00 two tank boat departing but I haven't seen one. TIA!

Never heard of a day-dive op that does that.

Most DMs aren’t functioning before o9oo

Isn’t the cruise ship offering diving in the excursions packages? Recommendations aside, they’re all going to handle you in an identical manner.

BTW- Roatan does NOT change clocks for DST/ST.

If the time your docked there is that short I’d just opt for the dive excursion offered by the ship and then you’re not worried about time.

Double check with your cruise line if the 7AM port time is actually Eastern or Roatan. Royal Caribbean lists all the port arrival and departure times on local time, even if the ship originates in a different time zone.
