Planning to go tomorrow, how is the viz in Monterey vs Carmel? Looks like a bit higher surge, Steward's Point or Butterfly House still look tempting ...

When I called Aquarius 2 earlier today, they said 10-15ft of viz and a bit of surge at the Breakwater.
Ballbuster @ 80-90 feet depth with no surge and about 25 feet visibility. It's like going through the sea nettle mind field during the descent/ascent. It was quite surgy at down to around 45 feet imho with max 10-15 feet vis. It's too bad I got see sick and sat out the later dives. I don't mind low visibiity at all but I hate surge.

yet after Ballbuster there were nothing to see down below but so much action up above .
