If you can afford it, go for the Inon z240... two of them and you are set. I used to have the Ikelite DS161 but I have switched to the Inons and they are sooo much lighter.... Love them.....

Thanks, I've been leaning towards staying with Olympus (maybe just my loyalty to them!)

But these look good (from my v.limited knowledge)! A little pricey mind!!!

You might also want to look at the Inon S-2000. It is cheaper and smaller and I have been very happy with mine (only the one). I was using it with an Olympus C5060 and will be using it with my EPL2 in December. I haven't used the Z240 so I cannot compare. The one real drawback I see is that the S-2000 doesn't have a focus light.

(We are getting off topic, but while at it). I don't think that the lack of focus light is a problem. You can buy a decent focus light (+ connector to "hot shoe" on your housing) for the price difference between z240 and S-2000. The reason you might want to go for the z240 might be due to performance, or non-optical sync (irrelevant for your system).

Well if I remember well, some Olympus housings and their strobes are made by Sea & Sea ;-) (from what I read).

If you can, buy 2 strobes, definitely when you have a wide angle dome.... you will not regret it....

I have D2000 and Sea and Sea YS-01m and quite happy to pair with my EPL-1. Z240 is certaily better and more powerful strobe but pricey.
If I have to rank, the list Z240, D2000, S2000, YS-01 and YS-02 (manual only). Z240, D2000, YS-01 and YS-02 has a focus light.

There are a couple on eBay today Nov 9 2011. One from Japan, One from Hong Kong. Pretty expensive for early adopters, but they are real.

Got mine here! Came in a massive box!

But the weather has been rubbish - so no diving :'-(
