Any one ever dive Beaver tail RI

Hey guys i was at a dive shop and over hear a diver talking about shore diving at Beaver tail. I mostly boat dive. How is this place to shore dive. My buddie took his boat and is done for the season. I looking for some nice winter diving spots in ct Ri or Mass.

I have never been there myself, but I see Ft. Wetheril is just around the corner, and that is a pretty mellow dive.

the folks at my dive shop say it has a strong current and is for the more experienced divers.

been there alot. You have to know what trails to take down to the water. Can be rough. Stop in at Ocean State Divers in Jamestown, RI ask them where to go and if to go .
