Jumped in with your zipper not closed all the way?

Wife knows that feeling. Asked a fellow diver to zip her up, faild to close all the way. Splashed in. "I have a leak some where." Uh oh! " It's running down my back" " DAMN YOU CHRIS!!!!!!!" She was on fire. :D She looked like the stay puffed marshmellow man when she got out. Completely full hahahaha

Huh Cascbagrl?

Thats why your supposed to double check it yourself. Burrrrrr

That's why I always double check my zipper by giving it a pull :D Never know when some prankster will decide to see if they can get you wet ;) My first drysuit didn't fit quite right and I was always soaked anyway--water pouring in through the neck seal--ugh!
Ber :lilbunny:

ooohhhhh yea, that pissed me off, you forgot to mention that everything Chris touches leaks! I should have known better than to ask him of all people for a zip!

I have never had any problems myself and I'm on my second drysuit. I did have a problem when I 1st went to dry gloves though. Soaked me pretty good right through the vent tubes. Glove wasn't sealed in the rings.

No, I always check my zipper because I started diving with guys that admitted they will leave others' zippers slightly open just so that they learn to always check. Tell me that & I don't need to learn the hard way.

But what is even better is when someone gets out of the water, gets unzipped, goes back to the beach to play around and jumps back into the water completely unzipped!! I've seen it happen twice. Brrrr!

I did it once a number of years ago with a surface suit in an ice rescue drill. That water was seriously cold!

Yeah I have seen others jump in with it completely open or go under the shower after an unzip

Yeah Chris has very bad luck when it comes to gear. He has flooded 3 canned lights, 2 light heads, a wrist computer, and a watch, also tore a neck seal on his own drysuit. Lucky there was a spare neck seal we replaced it with on the trip. Very bad luck.

Nope have yet to leave the zipper open, but embarrassing as it is to admit, I've jumped in on a subsequent dive with my neck ring on. BURRRRRRRRRR :light:
