Any news on Spanish Bay Reef?

I know the resort's been closed for a while. But, last week we took a cruise that was scheduled to stop on GC ( didn't stop because of weather, we couldn't tender ) and DH swears up and down that Spanish Bay Reef Resort was an excursion the desk was selling.

I've google'd and get the same old "This resort has closed.."

Any new news?

I understand Spanish Bay Reef Resort was just bought.
