Feb -March are a couple of my favorite months....winters almost over, I'm going south on dive trips, and the level of hockey seems to get better as teams push to make the playoffs....compound that with the level of hockey the HABS are playing now, and I forecast a great spring ahead.

Yes I agree with you when the playoffs start it is a total different type of play. That s why it s called the Second Season.

Hey guys,

I'm back. I had to slink away to Grand Cayman and Cozumel after the trashing the Bruins took earlier this month. I returned to watch the games I missed on the good old DVR (the greatest invention ever?). The B's were playing some bad hockey, but there is some light in this dark tunnel. Bobby Allen on defense has been a nice surprise from Providence. Hannu Toivonen looks to be back in NHL shape with a nice shootout win over Buffalo, and a strong game in a shutout loss to Ottawa last night. They got schooled by Ottawa. If the recent turnaround for the Senators is real, lookout. They are playing great team defense. Toivonen could be they key for the B's. He needs to be able to give Tim Thomas a break. Last year, Thomas ran out of gas at the end of the season. At the All Star, break the B's are only two points out of post season play.

The B's are in a funk, but as a faithful fan, I have hope. They had strong games recently against Buffalo and a nice comeback win against the Kingston/Kaunas City/Las Vegas/Houston/anywhere but Pittsburgh Penguins.

In other news, I took in some of the All-Star game festivities her in Dallas yesterday. Great weather (36 degrees, heavy rain) for the outdoor activities, so I opted for the indoor stuff.

Hey welcome back.Dont make a stink about the Bs there at least in a play off spot for now. The Blackhawks dont mind if i say this about my team THEY SUCK SUCK SUCK and SUCK. There on a 9 game skid right now before the All Star break and they only have one player going to the All Star game # 24 Martin Havlat oh i for got Seabrook is playing the night before in the Young Gun s game.
Went to the game last Friday night Minn and the Hawks . Hawks lost 3to 0 both teams played like Crap . Wake up Saturday morning Hawks are 12 points out of the 8 th spot for a play off spot. They played last night against Nashville lost again 6 yo 3 now there 14 points of a play off spot. Oh well i still have tickets for 4 more games i guess i will rooting for the other Teams. Just 2 weeks ago the Hawks were only 3 points out of a spot. My have things change.

No, I don't have tickets to this week's All Star Game, but I wish I did. The last ones I saw available were $180 apiece...:11:

My Canes thisw year are the poster child for inconsistency

Makes a fan nuts. Which team is going to show up?

Tickets for the Young Guns Game/Skills Competition ($80 a seat, lower deck) as well as the All Star Game ($130 a seat in the third deck) are still available.

If you are asked for a password (I have yet to see where you enter it) it is ALLSTAR (wow, I never would have guessed that was the secret password). I don't think you need the password because tickets went on sale to the general public a while ago.

Ya gotta love the All Star Game! Halfway through the second period and it's 7-5!
