Did you mean J.J. Daigneault?
That would be he....I knew I was spelling it wrong but for the life of me couldn't come up with a better spelling. Should have googled it.

Can the Bruins please play the Flyers every night?

Santafejoe,

Brandon Bochenski update: Since being traded from the Bhawk's minor league affiliate, he has five goals in seven games with the B's.

Thank you Chicago for allowing the Bruins to keep the hook in my mouth. The Bruins are still trying to scratch through the roof of their coffin.

Hey anytime we can help the Hawks are always willing to trade some one:rofl3: :rofl3 I just want to see what Stupid trade or trades there going to make before the Dead Line next week Feb 27th. Anyone need a Goalie? Were the only team with 3 of them.

Speaking of the Hawks, santafejoe, game on tonight, eh?

VTdiver-two game win streak by the Habs! Although Higgins getting hurt is bad with a capital B. Hope it's not too serious. In a weird way, maybe this injury bug allows some of the skaters to get some rest before the playoffs.

Higgins isn't hurt too badly, as he's playing tonight. The injury that does hurt them is Steve Begin. He is a great gritty player that make those around him play better. As far as Huet and Kovelev, I think they actually help the Habs. While I like Huet, and hope he remains with the Habs, this injury gave them the change and spark they needed by having an eager youngster, trying to prove himself play great in goal. As for Kovelev, this has had the same effect, as Milroy and other rookies are getting more of a look. Personally. as soon as Kovelev was healthy, I'd get rid of him. He has more talent in his right pinkie than half the players in the league have in their entire body, but he is so frickin lazy he brings the team down.

I like this thread...people that actually know and understand hockey ( even if they're not Habs fans LOL)
I was talking with a so called "hockey fan" the other day at work, who said he was a "bigtime" Rangers fan. We talked for a few minutes and then he said " you know, that guy Jagermeister" At first I thought he was making a cute nickname for Jaromir Jagr, and I smiled, but soon it became clear as he talked more that he didn't have a clue.
It's funny, as hockey and diving are similar in the respect that not everyone gets it. I like baseball, and love football but I live for hockey, and thats the same way I feel about diving. In the morning when I first get into my office, I check my email, go to a couple Habs sites, breeze thru ESPN, Boston Dirt Dogs and Hockeytraderumors.com, and then check Scubaboard before moving onto CNN, MSNBC and weather.com while I enjoy my coffee and prioritize my day. God I love this time of year!

Question: Do any of you have any websites you'd recommend that are dedicated to hockey, and not just a team based site. As stated before, one I like is hockeytraderumors.com. I also check out tsn.ca and sportsnet.ca, a couple sites out of Canada. I'd love to hear others.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Habs win again, coming from behind to beat Nashville, with Samsonov scoring the tying goal to put it into overtime. Then Halak stones Forsberg and JP Dumont in the shootout and Koivu scores the winner.
They're back! 2 points behind Atlanta for 6th place, only 3 points out of 5th. Have I mentioned I love this time of year?

Holy crap! Samsonov actually scored?!?!?;) I wish I could see more Habs games here. I don't have Center Ice and I'm pretty much at the mercy of CBC's love for the Leafs. As for websites, I pretty much frequent TSN and Sportsnet as well. I don't think there's any better. Spector's Trade Rumor site is pretty good also.

Red Wings are going for tying a club record 14 consecutive home wins tonight, which makes me think we might drop it tonight. Seems like each time the Wings are on the verge of a tying or setting a club record in wins, they always lose. Still, Zetterberg, Datsyuk and Holmstrom are just on fire as of late. I just hope they increase this pace in the playoffs for once!

Wings back on top in the west, only 3 points away from Buffalo. I hope Buffalo wins the Presidents trophy, maybee the wings will go past the first round.
