I've got a few days stay in McCall coming up and was wondering if anyone knows a few good dive sites near McCall?
What water temp can I expect?
Thanks,

After this weekend I can answer my own question.

I dove lake Payette with a friend this week. Surface temp. was 52* with temps dropping to 38-40* at about 40'. I thought that since this was a typical volcanic deep lake that is rather unproductive the visibility would be decent - I was wrong. Vis was poor at best and the bottom is muck so if you get near it you end up in a cloud.
We stopped by the local fire department to get some info about a possible dive site and I think they thought we were nuts. They said "No one comes to McCall to dive." I oppologize to any one that does, but I will add this to a lake I have dove but won't again.
