You've posted two course announcements. One doesn't have anything to do with the Club. The second is mine. As you can see, the class I'm offering for the Club is about 40% of the cost of the first course you posted. Its also significantly less than anything that I teach privately. IOW, if I offer a class for students, its way cheaper than what I typically offer and what's available in the community.

Please understand that folks who offer things through this and other clubs do so as volunteers. Students who run student clubs do this in their spare time. If classes and events work out for you, that's great. But take it easy on folks who volunteer. As I mentioned in a previous post and in PM, the club is being revived.

I didn't mean to post that information , sorry again. and I didn't mean to be harsh on the volunteers at all.. actually I was comparing curriculums and was very much looking into the volunteer program myself!

I sent you a reply to your pm and email though , again thanks

A club being started by a cucumber? :D

Just a lowly faculty advisor... And its a slug, not just a cucumber!

I will have to remember that Mr. Slug, next time we dive! You are a slug not a cucumber!

So, the plankton evolves. ;)

Emailed the primaries involved in getting the club back on its' fins,
and any help I can provide as a volunteer ..... just ask.
Photography, slideshows, flyers, etc.
If you've seen the Cuong Nhu Karate flyers on campus, those are mine.

FAU has some great opportunities, and despite apathy
there -ARE- many worthwhile future divers in the student population.
All it takes is a good recruiting effort and comaraderie to get it going again.

I graduated from BCC back in 1973 and I dive ...does that count ??

there are a bunch of divers in BCC and FAU Davie. but it seems the effort is more focused towards the guys up in Boca, I emailed them and I told that I just stumbled it by just going to google.com
and somehow ending up in myfau where I finally found the group.

btw the domain they used to have is way gone.

Count me in! I can volunteer with fliers or sitting in the breezeway during club recruitment days.
