Hi there,

Anyone have tips for diving in South Gippsland or southern Victoria? I'm returning to Aus after doing all my diving in the northern hemisphere, so I'm looking for new buddies and new dive sites. Thanks!

There's heaps of diving in Victoria. Closer to South Gippsland, is Phillip Island and Wilson's Prom. I am sure there are other areas as well but most of the diving I have done is around Port Phillip Bay, Bass Strait + Westernport Bays - not sure how far away you'll be from those?

Thanks Saspotato. I'll be based close to the Prom for a few months and then will be in Melbourne permanently. I was hoping there would be something around Phillip Island or Inverloch/Wonthaggi, perhaps? It's less than a couple of hours driving to get to either of the Bays, though, so recommendations for groups in Melbourne or on the Peninsula would be great. Thanks!
