Just wondering if there are any other Deadheads here?

Bob

Hi Bob,
I also am a Dead Head. I have had the pleasure of seeing 23 shows back in the day. I wish it could be more! Mostly west coast shows. Palo Alto is my favorite. Some of the best times of my life. I will forever love the Dead. Take care Bob

I don't know if you'd consider me a dead head, but I do like their music quite a bit. Never attended a show, and have no desire to now without Gerry.

"If the thunder don't get ya than the lightin' will."

Most of my Dead tunes are on cassttes that I copied from other people 20 some years ago, and on LP's. I'm working on replacing everything with ebay purchased cd's.

Well, not everything. A lot of this is bootleg concert stuff. I have some stuff from before they were the Dead and called themselves "The Warlocks".

I don't know if i'd consider myself a dead head but...
I've seen about 20 shows over the years, east coast.
I had the pleasure of seeing them at JFK in Philly right before they tore it down.

Not a deadhead but I love the music. I grew up listening to my Dad play their albums. Great stuff.

Glad to see other heads here. If anyone is interested in trading shows, I have about 400+ hours of live shows. My collection ranges from Jerry playing solo banjo at the Tangent in Palo Alto in the early 60's all they way to their last shows. My list however is horribly out of date. As soon as I get it current I'll post the link.

I'd be happy to burn copies of any show for anyone.

Never had such a good time in my life before
I'd like to have it one time more
One good ride from start to end
I'd like to take that ride again & again

Not only a Deadhead, but a Grateful Diver ... and one named Bob ... :D

How do you do?

I've got a bunch of tapes and a coupla dozen showz on CD ... several of which I was at. Kind've old & in the way now, but still enjoyin' the ride.

Anyway, pleased to make your acquaintance. If you're ever upcoast a ways let me know ... I'd enjoy divin' with ya ...

I had to move out of the Bay Area because I grew up there in the '60s and never made it one of Captain Trips' concerts. Still love their music and maintain American Beauty and their debut albums were best. ) Great versions of Morning Dew and Good Morning, Little School Girl. Of course Truckin' and Sugar Magnolia are such cool classics. First LP was recorded in three days and mixed in one. Best improvisational rock band ever!

Lots of heads here! :)

I've been musing on the thought of taking some tunes down with me on a dive. Now the natural underwater sounds are awesome in their own right, but I'm intrigued by the thought of some serious Jerry space underwater, perhaps on a night dive.

Anyone ever use one of these?
