How do you put a bell on a cat here...?
We don't allow bells here Don. Think about the dog piles you have endured. They think they are putting a bell on you. That type of action just stinks no matter how cut it and we don't allow it.

Let's not attack the user... lets just address their ideas.

Oops, I forgot that photobucket doesn't work in this forum. Anyway, thanks.

#22 Cave Diver 06.28.11 Moderator's Comments: Thread closed. Under the advice of several respected medical professionals this thread has been closed. Some of the information presented runs contrary to accepted medical practices and is potentially harmful. Please seek appropriate medical attention when dealing with venomous stings or reactions.

Now that's what I call righteously addressing potentially harmful drivel such as this.

I appreciate the Moderator involved having considered the health and well-being of those readers who are not expert in marine envenomations and their (proper) treatment.

Thanks,

I am starting to follow him just to see what crazy idea he comes up with next. I have now been entertained by the idea that reverse profiles are bad (http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/basic-scuba-discussions/387651-reverse-profiles-2.html) and that the effect of increasing pressure (with increasing depth) can cause the heart to beat faster (http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/ba...art-beating-through-my-chest-depth-why-3.html).

I have to agree with DocVikingo in that I am worried that someone will look at posts from someone with "2,500 - 4,999" dives and believe him...

I tried calling him out on a few posts but I don't think he reads posts made to him. Seemingly out for publicity only? Anyone seen what he's selling yet?

Look at his recent posts. He is selling dive trips and training, which are presumably of high value because of his dive history, "2,500 - 4,999" dives (as you can tell I am having a problem with this), as well as his breadth and depth of expertise.

Thal was nicer than I was...
It has been many years since that advise was considered appropriate and it is no longer considered valid.

If that individual has completed 2500+ dives, then there's something terribly wrong in the world.

He doesn't read replies... that much is obvious. There's no discussion and no reaction to any posts that address him directly.

Take all contributions with a pinch of salt. As always, flag nonsense where you see it...
